Jade, malachite, 14 karat yellow gold

For a holiday gift exchange, I drew a colleague who was easy to design for—he tends to wear several beaded or linked bracelets on his watch wrist, and some of those include malachite and some include gold. I'd done some green ombré beaded pieces before, so I thought that would work as a design pulsing around a bracelet—lucky for me his wrist size allowed for a complete malachite-to-malachite pattern. I suppose that realistically I went above the $20 limit for the exchange, but I didn't technically spend anything at all since I just went into inventory to get my supplies... that's not cheating, right?
